Electrical and Instrument Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Power consumption monitoring and efficiency improvement.

• Trouble shooting, maintain and preventive maintenance on all power equipment, electrical equipment, field instruments, PLC and DCS system.

• Electrical system/equipment design and sizing.

• Train and coach Electrical and Instrument Technician.

• Responsible for plant wide E/I preventive maintenance, improvement projects, troubleshooting, and sourcing. • Report to Chief Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in petro-chemical industry, preferably in oleo-chemical industries.

• Knowledge and experience in transformer, switch gear, MCC, A.C. and D.C. drives, variable frequency controller, electrical instrument, PLC programming, DCS programming, pneumatic and hydraulic system, and general electrical equipment.

• Able to read and understand P&IDs and logic diagrams.

• Experience in new chemical plant design, construction and commissioning will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
